Why is Intuition so important in this volatile world?
We can´t lead like we used to - linear development doesn´t exist anymore, the world changes exponentially and so we do have to change in a certain pace.
It´s the task of the leaders to guid through this times of polycrisis. Intuition is key.

00:00:02: Hello, hello.

00:00:06: Welcome to Enlightenment.

00:00:08: Enlightenment on a daily basis.

00:00:10: I'm Alexandra, Alexandra Sorge nicht.

00:00:13: I'm an intuition expert, author, founder, and intuition

00:00:17: trainer for more than two decades.

00:00:19: I will, like every two weeks, share my insights

00:00:27: about intuition, about the importance of intuition,

00:00:31: and the times that we are living in, interesting times.

00:00:36: I will talk about intuitive leadership,

00:00:38: intuitive self-leadership.

00:00:40: I will share stories of my life, of my intuitive life,

00:00:44: and from my experiences as an intuition trainer.

00:00:48: Also, from time to time, I will conduct interviews

00:00:51: with intuition pioneers.

00:00:53: And definitely, you will get intuitive meditations

00:00:57: and intuitive skills so you can start straightaway

00:01:01: with reintegrating your intuition in your life.

00:01:04: Today's episode is on intuitive leadership,

00:01:12: because as I see it, intuition is the leadership

00:01:16: skill of the future.

00:01:18: Or I would rather say, to be honest,

00:01:22: unfortunately, we already need it now.

00:01:27: Or better said, we need it yesterday.

00:01:31: And I will start with a glimpse in my story

00:01:34: and my early life, childhood and youth.

00:01:36: And I think you will see quickly why

00:01:38: and how that relates to why intuition is such

00:01:43: an important leadership skill for the times

00:01:47: that we are living in.

00:01:49: [MUSIC PLAYING]

00:01:52: So my story, not the whole one, don't worry.

00:01:57: I grew up in a very, very unstable environment.

00:02:02: There was violence on the lower, like every moment.

00:02:07: Sometimes it happened, often it happened.

00:02:10: And violence, like on every level,

00:02:13: emotional, verbal, and other.

00:02:16: And there was manipulation.

00:02:20: There was lies.

00:02:28: There were absolutely no sense of safety nowhere.

00:02:35: It was pretty hard for me to find orientation.

00:02:40: There were no functioning adults around me

00:02:44: on whom I could rely.

00:02:48: Yeah, sounds fun.

00:02:49: No.

00:02:52: Yeah, it was pretty tough, to be honest.

00:02:53: And the way I survived and I kept my sanity

00:03:00: was that I never lost access to my intuition,

00:03:04: to the voice of my soul, to the soul level.

00:03:08: I could always see through people's masks,

00:03:12: I would see when the violence was about to hit me.

00:03:17: So I could hide or I could move my body in a way.

00:03:21: But most importantly, I saw that that was happening

00:03:31: in that time wasn't the truth.

00:03:32: It wasn't the truth about life.

00:03:35: It wasn't the truth about me.

00:03:37: It wasn't the truth about humanity.

00:03:42: I knew that I had a beautiful soul because I could see it.

00:03:47: And I could see the beauty in a lot of human souls.

00:03:53: And I saw the beauty of life everywhere.

00:03:57: And so this was the only resource I had.

00:04:00: And so I kept it and it stayed strong.

00:04:06: Most kids are unlearning their intuitive abilities,

00:04:10: I would say, after the age of four.

00:04:11: So if you're under four, you don't need to train your intuition.

00:04:15: If you're a bit older than four, I think a chance is big

00:04:19: that would be a very good idea to train your intuition.

00:04:22: [MUSIC PLAYING]

00:04:28: So in what does this has to do with leadership?

00:04:31: Everything, everything.

00:04:34: The task of a leader, of the leaders of the world,

00:04:37: is to navigate through these uncertain times

00:04:41: to see the chances, to see the light, to see the possibilities,

00:04:46: and to really navigate through the stormy waters

00:04:50: so that we can not rebuild but build a very, very new future.

00:04:56: This is the task of the leaders.

00:04:57: And if I look around, well, great.

00:05:02: And a little improvement here and there couldn't do bad,

00:05:07: I think.

00:05:08: [MUSIC PLAYING]

00:05:13: So again, we live in an incredibly volatile world.

00:05:18: And we see that all certainties and predictabilities

00:05:21: are disappearing.

00:05:22: Developments are no longer linear.

00:05:25: We knew what to expect.

00:05:27: Yeah, we do this.

00:05:28: And then we know what we get out of it, what will be next.

00:05:31: This is not the case anymore.

00:05:33: The world is changing exponentially on all fronts.

00:05:37: And the task of a leader, of course,

00:05:40: is to navigate these processes.

00:05:43: And how do you do that?

00:05:45: How do you do that when you don't even know how?

00:05:47: For example, when you knew in the past,

00:05:52: you had knowledge like if you do that,

00:05:53: you can translate that into the future.

00:05:56: You know how success works.

00:05:58: You will do that.

00:05:59: And this will develop linear.

00:06:01: So you can translate that into the future.

00:06:03: And this is not possible anymore.

00:06:05: It's no longer a guarantee of success.

00:06:09: So what we do now, I think it's all

00:06:12: about developing at the right pace, which

00:06:15: means reinventing ourselves as leaders,

00:06:18: and also maybe possibly even disrupting ourselves.

00:06:22: Little scary.

00:06:25: So in a way, we can compare our situation

00:06:27: to our ancestors, the Polynesians who

00:06:31: were navigating the seas without a map,

00:06:34: just pure intuitive.

00:06:37: Through navigating the seas, intuitively,

00:06:40: they created maps that others later could follow.

00:06:46: And I think this is the task of leaders today

00:06:50: in these current times, intuitively navigating,

00:06:54: relying not only on your intuition, of course not,

00:06:58: but relying for a big deal on your intuition

00:07:03: and creating new maps.

00:07:07: Of course, the world we are living in right now

00:07:09: is a lot more complex than it was back then.

00:07:14: So that makes it maybe a little more difficult than it

00:07:19: was for our ancestors, I think.

00:07:20: So far, we have been consciously--

00:07:28: we've been able to perceive and decide

00:07:33: with our heads, with our minds.

00:07:36: We know-- a lot of studies have shown

00:07:38: that a lot of successful managers and leaders

00:07:41: decide intuitive.

00:07:44: And do we know how we do decide intuitively?

00:07:48: So we cannot afford to do it trial and error-wise.

00:07:54: We cannot afford to accept longer

00:07:56: that nobody really knows what intuition is.

00:07:59: And we are happy if it works.

00:08:01: And unlucky if it doesn't.

00:08:03: Yeah, it's an important future skill, which is absolutely

00:08:08: trainable.

00:08:09: So not only perceiving and knowing

00:08:12: and deciding from your head, but with your heart

00:08:15: and especially your soul, which is the intuitive area.

00:08:19: And perceiving from these areas and also being

00:08:22: able to follow these areas, follow your intuition.

00:08:27: So in the workshops, I give the intuitive leader workshops

00:08:30: again and again I hear, yeah, it's so often

00:08:33: that I'm sitting in a meeting and I know it's not going to work.

00:08:37: Or I know we have to go that way.

00:08:39: But it's intuitive, so I have no words for that.

00:08:42: I mean, how can I say that?

00:08:44: How do I say, I just know?

00:08:47: Or I have a gut feeling?

00:08:49: This is not how we communicate.

00:08:52: There is no communication culture for intuitive perception.

00:08:57: And this has to change and it's possible to change.

00:09:01: So here and there, I see that intuition is more and more

00:09:08: on people's lips because, of course, we

00:09:10: are all looking for the skills that we need now

00:09:14: and that can help us through these times.

00:09:17: And intuition to me really is the key for guidance

00:09:21: and navigation through these times of polling crisis.

00:09:25: Let me tell you how it doesn't work.

00:09:29: If you use intuition as a tool, a lot of people,

00:09:32: especially business people I've worked with,

00:09:35: are very curious.

00:09:36: Oh, yeah, I want to have my intuition.

00:09:39: I want to have intuitive tools so that I can integrate them

00:09:43: in the system, my system, like I did it before,

00:09:46: like I made decisions before, like I created success before.

00:09:50: It doesn't work.

00:09:52: Being intuitive is really that.

00:09:54: It's about being.

00:09:56: It's not about using your intuition.

00:09:58: It won't work.

00:09:59: If you barely want to incorporate a serving tool

00:10:03: in the existing system of how you are, how you act,

00:10:06: how you decide, how you strategize, it won't work.

00:10:12: Well, maybe to a certain extent, but it's not the disruption.

00:10:15: It's not what you really need as a leader

00:10:18: to navigate these uncertain waters.

00:10:22: Being intuitive is that.

00:10:24: It's about being.

00:10:26: So I can't teach you tools.

00:10:32: What I do provide is holding space for you

00:10:36: to remember how your intuition works.

00:10:40: I cannot teach you.

00:10:41: I cannot train you.

00:10:42: Everything is inside of you.

00:10:44: And it takes perseverance.

00:10:47: It takes dedication to remember who you really are

00:10:51: and how to be intuitive and how to live intuitive.

00:10:55: And how does it work?

00:11:02: Intuition doesn't function through theory.

00:11:05: Inside doesn't give you anything in that era or nearly nothing.

00:11:12: It works through experience.

00:11:14: So I'd like to invite you to a small intuitive experience.

00:11:19: And please go ahead and close your eyes.

00:11:22: Or if you prefer to open them open,

00:11:24: please let your gaze get unfocused.

00:11:25: And be aware of yourself.

00:11:30: Focus only inside on yourself.

00:11:32: Letting the outside world pause for a moment.

00:11:42: And all the claims and all the to-do lists and all the salts

00:11:46: and everything that you project in the future

00:11:48: or everybody who wants something from you

00:11:51: is imposed for that moment.

00:11:53: That moment is purely for yourself.

00:11:57: There's nothing to do.

00:11:59: Just breathe and be.

00:12:00: And be aware of your breath.

00:12:09: And notice if you maybe want to breathe a little deeper.

00:12:16: And let go while breathing out.

00:12:18: Let go of the old day stress and tension.

00:12:21: And allowing your body to relax deeper and deeper

00:12:29: and creating space where tension used to be.

00:12:40: There you are.

00:12:41: Nothing to do.

00:12:43: Just be.

00:12:44: Letting even more energy go, release even more

00:12:51: of what is asking something from you.

00:12:55: Nothing to do for you right now.

00:12:57: how they experience your body. And we are all human, so distractions happen. Every time,

00:13:11: maybe your mind wanders or you're in tomorrow, over tomorrow, your next holiday, your to-do list,

00:13:19: and your relationship, that's okay. Yeah, that's absolutely okay. Just recognize and then come back

00:13:28: to yourself, to this moment where you don't need to do anything, just be, be with yourself. This

00:13:38: is time for yourself, just a few minutes for yourself. And I'd like to invite you to give a

00:13:51: hello, like a greeting, friendly greeting to your calling. Okay, and I see all the brains,

00:14:01: what is my calling? I don't know, I forgot. I'm not too sure. No, what I'd like to invite you to

00:14:09: is when you say hello, like a friendly greeting to your calling, where do you perceive any reaction,

00:14:18: like maybe in your body, maybe you feel it, maybe you know it, it doesn't have to be a job,

00:14:25: a career, maybe it's an emotion, maybe it's a feeling, a tingling in your body, maybe it's a

00:14:35: color, maybe it's such a body is somehow growing, maybe it's memory. Yeah, so trust yourself. When

00:14:45: I invite you to give a hello to your calling, to your, you can also say your biggest desire,

00:14:55: what are you longing for? And be aware of what is showing to you, it breathes in and give yourself

00:15:10: permission to get in contact with that energy of your calling or your deepest longing,

00:15:19: where maybe in your body, do you find it right now? And how do you see it? And if I say see,

00:15:34: it's not necessarily visual, it can, what I mean is like receiving energy and trust yourself.

00:15:42: Very often the head is coming in again and again because your head is used to do all those tasks

00:15:48: and you can very friendly tell your head, thank you so much, thank you so much for doing all this

00:15:55: kind of stuff for me. Now it's time to pause. I absolutely need you, I will rely on you in

00:16:02: the future, but now you can relax for a moment. This is not your area, the energy of your calling,

00:16:12: your biggest longing. And through your breath, give yourself permission to make it bigger,

00:16:19: to let it grow, to let it take up more space in your body and maybe the body around you and see

00:16:27: what's coming up if you do that. Maybe there are feelings, maybe memories. And also it's possible

00:16:37: that you see that there is some movement inside of you that's saying like, "Oh, no, that's all kind

00:16:42: of, I don't know." Yeah, okay, that's okay also. I just want you to concentrate on the energy of

00:16:51: your calling. So now you're letting it become bigger, taking up more space and see how you react,

00:17:00: yeah, how do you react, how does your body react? Yeah, maybe some sadness is coming up or anger or

00:17:08: resistance, maybe memories of you as a child or a very young human being, being in very close

00:17:21: contact with that longing of yours, your calling. You wouldn't have the cold calling back then,

00:17:28: still it was. And be aware of maybe how you are suppressing that calling or same energy,

00:17:40: just different pattern pushing it, pushing it over the limits again and again. And so not being

00:17:46: like really an easy and trustful relationship with your calling. That's the same thing if you push it

00:17:54: or if you don't trust it at all, just not making it real at all. It's just the same thing, two sides

00:18:03: of a metal. Yeah, maybe critical thoughts, maybe pictures, limiting beliefs are showing up. I must

00:18:20: sentence this, I can't sentence this, that's ridiculous sentences. This is not paradise

00:18:31: sentences. Yeah, I'm being aware of what's coming up when you are giving yourself permission to

00:18:39: give more space to that energy of your deepest longing, that thing why you are here for and just

00:18:49: to be clear, I don't think there is this one knowing, that's one calling, I think we have

00:18:56: several. Yeah, so don't put yourself on the stress when they heard you say, "Oh, I want to do that

00:19:02: and that and then I remember, that's okay. That's okay." This linear thing of there is this one

00:19:09: calling, no, no truth in that. You can choose to follow one path, but I'm for 100% sure there is

00:19:21: more that can be created through you. So follow what is showing to you, trust yourself. And I'd

00:19:35: like you to imagine a shower, like a shower of rainbow colors, and you bring that above your

00:19:43: head and then showering yourself, and especially that energy of your calling, of your longing,

00:19:50: so that everything that is not free, that is not in unconditional freedom, that is not from you,

00:20:00: that is not in present time, can get released. Everything that is not in unconditional freedom,

00:20:07: that is not your truth, that is not a present time, is released through this beautiful shower,

00:20:17: rainbow energy, or a different color or quality if you like, choose as if you like.

00:20:23: Everything that maybe your parents have said, your family, like religious beliefs, like societal

00:20:31: beliefs, cultural beliefs, that is not your truth. And don't be afraid if you wash it away,

00:20:39: and it's from you, it will come back. And don't worry. And sometimes in this moment,

00:20:46: people are afraid that they will lose their connection because to others or to the world,

00:20:53: or to their path in the world, when I'm only for me, who am I? Of course. And the truth is,

00:21:01: what you will discover, what you will see is the more you're in your energy, the easier it is to

00:21:11: really be in connection, and the deeper your connections will be. So don't worry, you're not

00:21:17: getting isolated here, the opposite is true. How does the quality has changed maybe of your

00:21:25: deepest longing, of your calling, now after you gave that shower, after you released all that

00:21:32: energy that wasn't true to yourself, that wasn't in present time, that was not in unconditional

00:21:38: freedom? And be aware, do you get any ideas now? Or impulses of what to do, how to be? It doesn't

00:21:51: have to be the case, but it can. And if you get ideas or impulses, trust yourself. Yes,

00:21:59: so maybe your calling has changed, and your relationship to your calling has changed until

00:22:03: when you were four, and absolutely in connection to it. And now you're maybe a little older than

00:22:08: four, and it might pretty well has changed. So how do you see yourself? How do you experience

00:22:16: yourself? And how do you see what is your calling? What is your longing? Maybe you have words now,

00:22:24: or images, or pictures in what you could do, what you could be in this world, both do and be. Yes.

00:22:37: Yeah, check. Take a moment to come up, bubble up, so that the manifestation power of your deepest

00:22:56: calling becomes visible, no push here, no weakened seminar. Yeah, it's just what you can do. If you

00:23:03: can see it, you can do something with it. You're free in your choice. And so how do you see your

00:23:10: manifestation power? What do you see? What change do you see? What calling? What task? What joy?

00:23:20: And don't be scared, or too much in doubt if you don't believe in yourself. Honestly,

00:23:28: everybody says you have to believe in yourself. I don't know. I don't know. I don't believe in

00:23:36: myself a lot of the times. And still I create, and still I'm living my best intuitive life. It's

00:23:42: all ups and downs, of course, but I'm really living the life I want to live, even if I very

00:23:46: often can't or don't believe it, or not believing in myself. So don't stress that too much, or I

00:23:52: have to really believe in myself. It's enough if you see it. And if you connect to what is seen,

00:24:01: again seeing, being aware. And maybe there is awareness in your body. Maybe there's an emotion.

00:24:11: Maybe there's a thought that's coming out of that new connection. Yeah, be aware of that and trust

00:24:17: yourself. You don't have to believe yourself to trust yourself. There you are. And maybe you want

00:24:25: to find a home and your system for your calling, for that energy, that quality. So put it there,

00:24:32: give it a home and breathe. Be aware of how you feel now. Maybe something has changed through

00:24:43: the, through the release, through the widening of that space. How do you feel now? There you are,

00:24:55: nothing to do, just to be. Doing comes naturally if you're at tune. Yeah, so always first be.

00:25:08: Yeah, breathe and to the new awareness. And then take a few breaths. And with that

00:25:16: breath, I'd like you to come back out of that small trance. Okay, welcome back. There you are.

00:25:23: Thank you very much for listening. Thank you very much for coming on that little adventure with me.

00:25:31: And I'm very much looking forward seeing you in about 14 days when I will have the honor to interview

00:25:39: a true pioneer. Until then, trust your intuition.

00:25:45: (upbeat music)

00:25:48: (upbeat music)
